Our History
Everything started with my grandfather Ananii, who decided to become an auto mechanic in 1938. His family lived in a small village where it was very difficult to earn a living, and their hopes for a better life became less and less realistic.
Granddad grew up in a world where each piece of metal could be exchanged for something valuable. Even in his adolescent years, he could dismantle or repair a car blindfolded.
Granddad always said that the most important things in his profession were not only knowledge but also patience and love for one’s career. Later, he became renowned as a skilled craftsman throughout the region. People came from different villages, confident in his professional competence. He could repair any car.
My father, Mykola, helped his grandfather in the car service from a young age. Even as a boy, he turned nuts, handed out wrenches, and listened to his grandfather’s advice. When it came time to choose his path in life, there was no doubt; he decided to study to become a car mechanic.
During my father’s youth, technology was changing—new cars appeared, more complex and modern. However, the fundamentals that his grandfather passed on to him remained unchanged. My father expanded his grandfather’s business because he had three sons, and they all became car mechanics, each specializing in a different area. For example, the middle son really enjoys repairing agricultural machinery.
My name is Serhii. I grew up in an atmosphere of love for technology. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue the family business. I was passionate about many things, but eventually, the field of auto mechanics became very important in my life. After graduating from college, I started working with my father.
The rapid development of technology at that time brought significant advancements to auto mechanics. Cars became electronic, and new computer systems emerged. My grandfather could hardly have imagined such changes. However, the fundamentals remained the same. This field still requires patience, understanding of how mechanisms work, and the skill to identify problems where others see only metal.
Of course, not everything was easy. We encountered several crises, both economic and personal. There was a time when everything seemed to be declining. Despite these challenges, we overcame all difficulties because our family worked together as one team.
As vehicle diagnostics evolved from simple mechanical inspections to complex systems, I needed to learn a lot. I took courses, read books, and consulted with other professionals. At first, my father was skeptical of all these innovations, but he later realized that this is the future and supported me.
These days, we work not only with mechanical problems but also with electronic car systems. Our car service has become one of the best in the region. Clients come to us even from other areas. But the most important thing for me is that we have preserved our family heritage, and this is our success.
This history is about a heritage that can’t be measured in any monetary terms. It is a legacy of iron, oil, keys, and bolts. But the main thing is the love for our own business, which is passed down from generation to generation.
This is how the Auto Luxe Service Corporation in Regina came to be. It’s about a new generation of service that combines years of family business experience with modern technology.
